AXE-11000 just reset itself

Today I woke up at night and noticed that many of my smart devices lost the wifi connection. I though maybe the router frozen and need a restart (sometimes happens because of Transmission's heavy load). But no. First time ever the router reset itself. Checked the external jffs drive and the external HDD. Both working and in perfect condition.

I guess there is no chance to restore any settings or figure out what cause this. I would like to prevent these kind of issues. Is there any auto backup features for that which can backup the basic settings too?

There's no such thing as an "external jffs drive". jffs is part of the router's internal storage.

If you're using Merlin's firmware there's a backup addon script. Or you can use the manual backup and restore options in the webUI.

Ah, you're right. I mean that drive that keep Merlin's scripts, Entware, etc. Thanks.

This self-reset issue was reported for other models as well. Rare event with unknown cause. Keep backups.
