BE88U Firewall port forwarding set in GUI not working. Anyone else?

Hello everyone. Longtime Asus Merlin Asus router user. I recently upgraded to an Asus BE88u and ran into an issue that ive never seen before so thought to see if i might be the only one.
Configuration BE88u Runnig Merlin 3006.102.3.
SFP+ Port Wan
I have been testing plex remote server and had forwarded port 32400 TCP. Using canyouseeme.org would show that 32400 was not listening. If i disable the firewall in the asus gui, its listening.
Seeing that disabling the firewall worked but isnt a viable solution, i then created a script editing iptables to forward 32400 and that is working for me.

My question is, why isnt the standard port forwarding menu working for me? Is anyone else having this issue?

I have the same router and firmware, in my case port forwarding in GUI is working as intended, I can reach Plex from WAN.
I use 10G WAN port, not SFP, maybe that's the issue?

Agreed, the issue is either a misconfiguration or the SFP+ port. Both 10G and 2.5G ports forward any port I set (outside of the first 1024) just fine.
