BE96U: Bonding/Link Aggregation in AP Mode using 10G LAN1/WAN port?

Hoping someone can clarify something here. I'm using a BE96U in AP Mode and was hoping to use the 10G WAN/LAN1 port as one of the bonding/link aggregation ports. The GUI under LAN > Switch Control > Bonding/ Link Aggregation reads "Enable Bonding (802.3ad) support for your wired client and then connect it to your Router's LAN1 and LAN2 port." but when I attempt to use the 10G port as LAN1, it doesn't work. Is there a way, perhaps via commands, to use this port for Link Aggregation, or am I forced into using the regular 1G LAN1 port? If so, what's up with this limitation? In Router mode, you are able to use either one of the 10G ports for Link Aggregation.
