Hi,
Ok, the title is maybe a bit "too much", but the idea is that my home is not so big (maybe max 15m/50ft between router and the farthest point), but the walls are not small and the router is a bit misplaced, as the incoming cable signal (and so the modem and the ASUS) is next to a metal shelf.
I bought recently a AX56U to replace the old AC66U I got in 2015, but the reach is not that good :
"Playing" with the antenna gives beter result, but it's difficult to keep the signal when at the farthest point.
I'm a bit reluctant to go Mesh just to win a few meters, as speed is not really that important for me (as long as HD streaming is ok).
So I wonder if returning the AX56U and replacing it by a AX58U or higher would really help ?
I've read in other posts that AX86U is very recommended here, but I wonder if it would really change a lot for me.
I found a good deal for an AX92U : Is it a good choice ?
Thanks to anybody who read all those questions
