New Around Here
Hi,

I am hesitating between several Dual-Band Wireless-N USB Network Adapter below:

Linksys by Cisco WUSB600N Dual-Band Wireless-N USB Network Adapter or TRENDnet 300Mbps Dual Band Wireless N USB Adapter TEW-664UB

http://www.amazon.com/TRENDnet-300Mb...9&sr=1-2-fkmr0

Trendnet seems to be compatible with WD TV Live if you use it.

I am planning to buy a Netgear RangeMax Dual Band Wireless-N Gigabit Router (WNDR3700) but the netgear dula-band adapter has bad review on Amazon.

Which ones would you recommend for the netgear router?

Emmanuel

I am using three of the WUSB600N's on my network I bought two of them as refurbs from Newegg for about $28 each. They work well enough.

I just ordered the AirLink101 AWLL7025 Dual Band Wireless 300N USB Adapter from Amazon for $26 including shipping. Didn't get it yet but reviews are good and so are the specs.

My background.

Assuming D-link hasn't really screwed me over with this 1.21A firmware on the DGL4500 and I can keep that router and count on it...this is a big if...I'm currently using their DWA160 USB adapter for the computer that's two floors away from the router and I simply have never been very confident or satisfied with its performance.

Would a change in adapters to one with antennas, like the DWA 552 or 556, be any better? I'm not married to any one brand, either.

Maybe MOCA is an option for me? I'll do what it takes. I wish I could move that computer closer to the router but it just isn't viable at present.
