We have 8 heavy internet users on 30/5 connection using a Surfboard SBG6580 Gateway.
Setup includes:
- 7 Xbox 360s ( Wired )
- 4 Desktops ( Wired )
- Multiple wireless devices including Laptops, Ipods, etc..
- A couple of switches to accomidate all the wired devices.
- NFS
Pings / Latency on XBL is the number 1 priority
followed by VOIP / Netflix / Youtube
followed by general websurfing / downloads
Please leave device recommendations and why.
Also, should QoS be the determining factor? If so what devices have the best performance / implementation of QoS controls.
