Is this announcement somewhere on the ASUS website? When I go there and look at the available firmware, I still only see the 4561 version.

The title of this thread should list the model AC68 in it.....some might think this is for other models and start posting here about their model(Asus will probably release same version for other models under same number)

This firmware is still using drivers from last two Asus firmwares. So if you are having issues, contact Asus directly.

Are you saying Asus released a firmware that does not fix the reboot issue ?? If so that is completely unacceptable.

It's a beta version... you can only try it and see if Asus guessed right.

This is not as straightforward was you or I may think (to fix).

I don't look like they even addresses the boot issue nothing even mentioned in the change log.

That wouldn't stop me from trying it if I had that model and issue though.

What's the fast test? Maybe if I try the same I'll be able to reproduce the reboot issue.

I think many people said their router reboots when one of their wifi devices(usually iphone) would travel out of range.

According to Asus the reboot issues should be resolved. It's still the same driver version, however a patch provided by Broadcom has been applied to the SDK to address that issue.

Uptime 16 hrs so far.

Will report later :D

OK, sorry clarifying:

No reboot issues for me with latest Merlin 374.40_beta3,
and my modem functional in 3G+ (dual wan)

With this 374_4887-gcbbd32a: modem status = disconnected

So instantly back to latest Merlin 374.40_beta3
so that was a fast test of the 374_4887-gcbbd32a

((and I quoted a dualwan post))

No, not for me, now back on Merlin latest.

Huawei e3276s-150 "disconnected" state all the time, in my fast test.
