New Around Here
Hello!

New to the forum! I just upgraded to windows 10 for a professional music work station, but I'm having latency in latencymon. ndis.sys usually spikes to 800(us). Overall the current us is fine.

Specs:

3930k
GA UD5 X79
AMD R290x
Samsung Pro 850 500gb
Qualcomm Atheros AR1111 WB-EG Wireless Network Adapter.

In device manager it says I have the newest driver, however it says that about a lot of incorrect hardware, especially graphics drivers. I'm wondering what the newest driver is and if someone can find it for more. I attached a picture. I can use LAN in the meantime but this is not always convenient.

Thank you!

Qualcomm Atheros AR1111 WB-EG Wireless Network Adapter.

Use the onboard ethernet if you're concerned about latency...

If you must use WiFi, consider other options - the AR1111 is b/g/n if I recall, and it's included with the motherboard to support mostly bluetooth for keyboard/mouse, and as a checkbox feature...

I read up on latencymon, wasn't familiar with it.

What driver version/date is windows reporting? The latest from gigabytes website is 10.0.0.75 dates 7/24/2012.

can you disable the variable speed feature of your cpu so that it gets more consistent results?

Also close all other running software when you run it, of course.
