I see a lot of blu-ray players are dlna compliant, and I am wondering if any one has used one to double as a media player? I'm worried about handling hi def content via wifi and also the file formats they can play. *.mkv is a must.
I currently own a patriot box office and it works great, but the wifi dongle is weak. I had to use a wireless repeater to handle decoding the high def content but other than that it works awesome. It plays iso, and mkv formats that I use the most and think it would be awesome for a blu-ray player to combine these functions.
Any opinions on these or others?
