I need advice on two options I have come down to for a bridge + switch setup for my living room.
I will be moving most of my media stuff to the living room where the big TV is(two gaming consoles, bluray player and a media pc). The modem and router(ASUS RT-N66U) will stay in my office where my main computer and htpc are, and since I live in a condo I'm not allowed to run cables through the walls.
ASUS EA-N66 + any 5 port gigabit switch
or
TRENDnet TEW-680MB
Both are dual band three stream 450Mbps capable. The EA-N66 seems to be the best match for my router performance wise. But the TEW-680MB would mean less cables since everything is in one device and is cheaper as well.
I will be doing a lot of streaming; advice will be appreciated.
