Hello SNB,
I have a question that might get answered by one of you guys. I've already tried to figure it out myself but did not found out how to do it.
I currently own a AC66u and was thinking of adding a AC3200 as my main router.
What I would like to do is 'bridge' two ASUS routers, in such a way I can use the guest network on the second router (it will be located in the barn in my backyard). They should share NAT/DHCP from router 1.
The attached picture illustrates the problem I am having.
It is possible to "bind" the wifi guestnetwork to a tagged VLAN? So I can pick it up in the barn and 'bridge' the two networks? This would also give me the option to wire a guest computer.
WAN > AC3200 > AC66U
On both routers you would have a normal LAN and a guest LAN like you would have when using one single router.
Is this possible? I did not purchase the AC3200 just yet, the AC66U runs ASUS-WRT.
Thanks in advance guys, if anyone can answer my question you guys are.
