Can i connect a smart phones data connection to the r7800, so it still provides router function but the phone is the modem?

Gonna be without an Internet connection for a little while and was hoping I can go through phone whilst maintaining home network set up

R7800 can I use a phone as 4g modem through USB?

As title, is this possible? Is it an decent option compared to buying a 4g router? Signal strength etc compared to not using antennas for 4g router ofc.
