Asus RT-N16 with Shibby 1.28 MIPSR2-132 K26 USB AIO sitting behind CGN3ACSMR that is in bridge mode.
Twice within the last month the system has 'crashed' with no access to the internet.
While 2 'crashes' doesn't mean there is a issue, In an effort to see what is happening I would try to log into Tomato to see system status (possible ISP issue) but the router would also be unresponsive (I would be unable to login to the router)
Rebooting the router only would not allow router access.
Only a total reboot - modem and router would allow access to the router and the internet.
In the past I was running Tomato MLPPP on a 54GL but on a DSL connection. Anytime that the ISP had an issue I was still able to log on to the router to see status.
What to try to monitor - enable log files? - send them to external USB so I can read them on a PC? If the router is unresponsive what happens to the logging function?
thanks for reading - any info I can supply just ask
