Solved Cannot Access Shared Drive Over VPN

I have a Win10 host with a shared drive I access from a Win11 laptop via network mapped drive. It stops working when I use my self-hosted WireGuard VPN even when the tunnel is enabled with the laptop on the same physical LAN as the host machine. I read to try using a "network location" shortcut instead but as you can see in the screenshot the network location shortcut does the same thing. I use RDP via the VPN when away from home all the time connecting to the same host the shared drive is attached to so the VPN server is within the same subnet and such. Any idea what would cause this? The WireGuard server is hosted on a UniFi router at the edge of the network the host is on not on the host machine itself. Do I need to configure something in Windows to make this work? Thanks

Tried it but that does not work either. Interestingly I am unable to ping the host machine either yet I can connect to it using RDP with this same IP. Very strange.

Thanks! This solved my problem; inbound SMB firewall rule needed the VPN subnet.
