CANNOT ACESS AC5300 SETTINGS RMERLIN FW

I installed the Rmerlin software on my AC5300 this evening in hopes that I'd get some added options to fix my connectivity issues. And now after going in to make changes and click apply, I get the screen you see below. I've seen this screen before and it usually goes away to allow me to log back into the router settings. But the screen does not refresh. And I am connected to the internet as well. I'm also getting a firefox message saying my connection is not secure. Which was never an issue. I have done several default reset procedures and I'm pretty much at my wits end with this router. It has not performed up to my expectations at all in the month that I've had it. I'd really like to get this resolved as there are several vital devices that run on my network.
