Cannot copy or create new folders on Mybook

Very Senior Member
I have mybook plugged into the USB 3.0 port. Runs fast and streams my
Hi-Def audio perfectly. I cannot copy files into the root directory or rename a folder but I can copy a file into an existing directory. How do I fix this?
