Cannot restore router RT-AC68U after installing 380.68

I tried to install firmware 380.68 on RT-AC68R under 384-something. It failed to install directly at first so I loaded 378.55 first. It went well I was able to load into Web-GUI. Then I tried to load 380.68 and now router seems to be in the infinite loading loop.

1. All network LEDs are blinking once
2. USB 2,0 light is lit for about 8 seconds
3. USB light is gone, power LED is on for about a minute or two.
And it starts again

I tried to set it to recovery mode but I cannot.
Things I tried:
Hold reset while powering it on
Hold WPS while powering on
30-30-30 with reset
30-30-30 with WPS

Nothing breaks the cycle.

Any suggestions?

1. Unplug the wireless router from the power source.

2. Press and hold the [Reset button] for around 5 secs, meanwhile; re-plug the cable of wireless router into the power source

3. Release the Reset button when the [Power LED] at the front panel starts flashing, which indicates that wireless router is in the Rescue Mode

Either another 30-30-30 with wps helped or router was able to recover itself. Settings are reset and I am able to connect to default asus wifi.

@Rmax Just FYI, the 30-30-30 reset does nothing on Asuswrt, it's a DD-WRT thing.
