Can't access aicloud over the internet on RT-AC66U

I've been trying to set up aicloud and smart access to access my shared windows folders remotely on my RT-AC66U with the latest merlin build. Currently this works perfectly when connected to the network but when I try over the internet on a different connection I get nothing; just connection timed out in the browser or similar in the aicloud app. I've tried forwarding ports 8082 and 443 but no luck. Googling has also failed to produce a solution so now I'm asking here. Please help me!

I've had similar problem, but on RT-AC87 : i couldn't access my HDD (connected on router's USB) via aicloud, either locally or from outside. As local network drive worked, though... Going back to FW 66_2 solved problem. It seems that FW66_4 has as issue...?

Hmm, well just tried that but no dice. Still not getting anything when not connected to my home network.

Since you have 66 router, try to go even lower, say, to 66-0. Changelog mentions something regarding aicloud and 66 router errors when connecting to cloud...

I just found new possibility why AiCloud doesn't work from internet: you CAN'T redirect port 443 to ANYTHING (or have anything connected that uses one), because AiCloud uses this port for internet access. I've had NVR connected and https open, and that was enough...
