Can't get my TM-AC1900 to take any reflash!

New Around Here
I'm kinda new at this and any help would be great help! I've been trying to update my TM-AC1900 to a Asuswrt build, everything works fine up until it finishes the upload then it goes into recovery mode and re-installs the original firmware back. I've tried older builds and newest one but the same thing every time! Not sure what I am doing wrong.

Asuswrt-merlin officially supports the following router models:
  • RT-N66U
  • RT-AC66U
  • RT-AC56U
  • RT-AC68U
  • RT-AC68P (same firmware as RT-AC68U)
  • RT-AC87
  • RT-AC3200

Did you just quote yourself?

Well spent the day messing with it and I finely got it to take an earlier version so now I have Telnet active, I used Engineer's procedure that I was pointed to, everything seemed to work but in the end I still have the same CFE (tried to change it to a ASUS 1.0.2.0) wouldent take so now I'm going to set it back to a TM 2.1.2.1 and work my way up to getting out from under T-Mobile and back to a full Asus machine.

Well thanks to member: Engineer's tutorial on flashing a TM-AC1900 back to a stock RT-AC68U I now can say that I have a totally T-Mobile free router!

Well done. And you can stop talking to yourself now and be a proud Asuswrt-merlin user!
