[solved] Can't remove files from external HDD
Hello,
I have a 2TB MyPassport attached to a RT-AC56U as a Samba/network attached folder; this has been formatted as ext3 due to the infamous NTFS issues and, uhm, no longer can be added to my Windows machine. "Luckily" for me, I can't really remove anything from it as I'm greeted with the following dialog:
File Access Denied
You need permission to perform this action
You require permission from RT-AC56U\admin to make changes to this file.
Needless to say...I AM logged in as admin from when i attached the network share; moreover, i even re-attached it to no avail. The permissions are ok in the router configuration and looking at the Security settings through windows I can see it's actually 'Everyone' with full access.
How can I actually remove files there?
I need to mention that I'm back on 374.43_2, because on 374.45 the Wi-Fi wouldn't have provided stable signal to the repeater (I actually ended up with the weakest Wi-Fi range I've seen on a router...to date).
Thank you.
LE: I might be in the wrong section; if someone could move it to the Merlin subforum, I'd appreciate it
