Can't turn off PPTP VPN Server in 3.0.0.4.374.39

Hello,

I'm using Asuswrt Merlin 3.0.0.4.374.39 on my Asus RT-AC66U. The VPN settings apparently changed recently. Even though I turn off the VPN server (VPN->VPN Server, Enable VPN Server: Off), it still shows that it is running on the VPN Status page:

"PPTP VPN Server - Running"

How do I disable the PPTP VPN Server?

Also, it would be great to be able to only turn on an OpenVPN server, but disable the PPTP server. Can this be done?

UPDATE: I checked both instances (Server 1, Server 2), and even when turning off both instances, it still shows PPTP VPN Server running.

You are confusing PPTP with OpenVPN. The two instances you are talking about are OpenVPN, enabling or disabling either of them will have no effect on PPTP. You have to go to the VPNServer page, select PPTP, disable it, then click on the Save button at the bottom of the page.

Got it. Thanks! I was confused by the interface, but now I see that if you select PPTP or OpenVPN from the VPN Server tab, that lets you turn on/off each VPN type. Thanks!
