I have seen that regulation mode has problems with intel wireless cards, every time I set it to off on the 5ghz and save the setting it comes back on the next time i click on the page, any way to fix this ?

This is from a factory default via nvram clear after software defaults on my n68u

(It is off on my n66u)

Thanks but if you have not looked at the latest beta it has a drop down, and the clue was me saying it is off on the N66u (via the GUI) :)

it's on the professional tab.

just enable it.....

You wont be able to disabe it then :O

If only it were that simple, I have issues reconnecting to the 68u unlike the n66u & that is a setting that will not change to match the 66,

fixed it, telnet command to set the regulation domain to the UK

nvram set regulation_domain_5G=GB
nvram set wl1_country_code=GB

Asus really need to allow country code selection instead of shipping EU models.

They cannot legally do that. This is why this is hardcoded in the CFE.

pretty much every router allows it except ASUS, is bizzarre.

None of my previous Linksys or DLink routers allowed me to change the region.
