Capped at 130Mbps? RT-AC66U

Is there a setting I should check in order to get the full 250Mbps of my new cable profile. I can't go faster than 130-140. Is the AC66U too old, just not capable of it?

Hilarious, I was just posting a follow-up question:

Right here?

****EDIT****

This setting killed my bandwidth.

How did it kill your bandwidth? Go to Tools and see if it's enabled.

It's Enabled, see pic above.... I'll add it here:

My speed test went from 130Mbps to 50Mbps after Auto Nat Acceleration:

Is the above pic the right place for HARDWARE acceleration? Confusing not using the same word. Is NAT the same as HARDWARE?

What are you testing your connection with? Wired or wireless?

That's pretty strange that it cut your bandwidth in half...which it absolutely shouldn't have. If you had QoS enabled, it would say disabled.

Check that you aren't cloning any MAC on the WAN page, also leave your modem unplugged for 10-15 mins to fully reset your connection.

Also make sure you didn't configure QoS for the speed of your old connection.

Yes, NAT acceleration is the same thing as HW acceleration - Asus has been interchanging the two names over the years.

Reinvented: WIRED of course and NO QOS
RMerlin: Thank you for clarification, no clone and will unplug now.

God I love how ISP's screw you over with insane downloads and no upload. So glad I left Comcast for FiOS when I moved.
