Does anyone have this CFE? i thought the only (most popular online on forums etc)

were 1.0.2.0 and 1.0.2.1?

I got an old AC1900 TM with 376 and this CFE..

can we roll back easily to 1.0.2.0?

Thanks,

google ac68 cfe will give you result.
if you buy the TM-AC1900 with intention to use ai-mesh, consider refurb RT-ac1900 or new AC66u B1 with similar hardware that's actually supported by asus.

But if it's fun project, good luck, as long as you are aware it's not supported and risk is yours

...AC66u B1 don't have ai-mesh , with last FW update TM-AC1900 cant have it to
ac66u b1 has aimesh well, at least it has on my uncle's computer

I knew it shares code and hardware with ac68.
didn't realize it's not listed
now that you point that out, I will see if i can grab one to test the mesh functionality and compare to my first gen ac68u

And I am talking about RT-AC1900, not TM-AC1900 by t-mobile. naming scheme sux

interesting did they added in last 2 days ? its not showing support on asus (US) website and here separate Thread from people saying its not supported/working

apparently, it has been available for quite a while, marketing fail I guess ;p (or is it not officially support yet? I can't say for sure)
there is different between ac66u and ac66u b1.
ac66u is different hardware while b1 share hardware and code with new ac68u

AC1750 aka (RT-AC66U_B1)
only cost $90 its a nice Aimesh option
if b1 share (all?) hardware and code with new ac68u why is it only rated 1750 ?

CPU is the similar model as first gen ac68u but clocked faster
the way they model with number is
1900 = 600 @ 2.4Ghz + 1300 @ 5G
1750 = 450 @ 2.4Ghz + 1300 @ 5G
I have most of my stuff running on 5Ghz these day anyway, i am careless for 2.4Ghz
so if I am to shop a router, I will take that into account.
you can think of it as DIY a computer, but saving some cost here and there on parts, but still compatible to run windows on it.
at least that's the way I look @ it.
