I am going to be changing my LAN subnet and want to make sure I don't run into issues or lose access to the router while applying the change.

Should I update the DHCP page first or the LAN IP page?

Just do the LAN IP. DHCP should follow. My experience is the pc will get an updated IP when the router reboots after the LAN change.

Either rebooting clients or issuing a lease release/renew on the client might be necessary if clients are connected to a separate network switch. Otherwise, those clients won't notice that they need to request a new lease in the new subnet.
