Class-identifier (option 60) question

Unetwork

Senior Member
Hi,
I plan to remove my sfr box and replace it by an Asus AX88U router (386.4 firmware)
Concerning the option "Class-identifier (option 60)" is it better to enter the value "neufbox6" or "neufbox_NB6VAC-MAIN-XXXXX_YYYYYY" ?
What is the difference between the two ?
Thanks for your help.

Thank you for your comments.
I can't figure out if I should put only "neufbox6" or the other value "neufbox_NB6VAC-MAIN-XXXXX_YYYY"
I just tried with "neufbox_NB6VAC-MAIN-XXXXX_YYYY" internet works perfectly, but I saw that others put only "neufbox6".
I would like to know the difference.

As I said, the behaviour is down to your ISP not the router. So unless a there is another forum member that uses the same ISP this is probably a question best asked on your ISP's forum.

In another example here someone used "neufbox_NB6VAC".

Thanks for the link.
Indeed, with the value "neufbox_NB6VAC" in Merlin, the internet connection without the BOX ISP works without problem.
Long life to Merlin
