Client List Question

CO_Chewie

New Around Here
Hello!

I have noticed that after first logging into the router (either web or app) that my client list has an extra client listed for a moment. It is usually listed as Lenovo or Android, shows as hardwired, and almost always a xxx.xxx.1.93 address. If I leave the list up it will eventually refresh and go away.

I am (fairly) confident that this device is not attached to the network, does this happen for anyone else? Is it just a bug I can ignore?

Thanks and Happy New Year!

Check the MAC address, it will help you track down the device. The first few bytes of the MAC will identify the manufacturer.

Next time I notice it I will try to grab a screenshot and double check the MAC. The last time I checked, the MAC shows it as a Motorola device. There are no Moto devices in the household. The strange part is that it shows as wired, which I know the four devices that are wired in. In addition, it only shows up for maybe 10 seconds after logging in after a long period of not accessing the admin page.
