Asus are adding all of the following to base firmware, some already done in beta versions.
Seperate MTU configurable for ipv4/ipv6 seperatly. - someone else requested this.
Ability to use alternative iptables NAT rules, so sessions stay alive on internet dropouts providing the internet ip doesnt change. I originally asked eric to do this but he said it would change the merlin firmware too much from asus base, so now its going to be added to base. Asus originally said no but when I pointed out ipv6 sessions stay up, all they need to do is apply what is on ipv6 to ipv4 (and I told them how can be done from tomataoasus method) they agreed to change.
PPP uptime will be displayed in gui.
Abaility to set dns server assigned to ipv6 clients (like is on ipv4) as eg. I want my ipv6 clients to use the router as dns server but currently thats not possible via gui configuration without manually entering the router's own ipv6 lan address in the dns server box.
