Would you anyone know if it is possible to prevent roamast from launching, or recover from a crash?
service restart_net_and_phy and reboot didn't seem to work. I had to power-cycle the modem.
I realized the crash last night stopped routing to the Internet. I have seem these crashes before and usually the router continues working. I turned off roaming. It crashed again today. I turned off Smart Connect and the process still launches and crashed. Any help would be appreciated.
I have also been having drama the last week or so with Xfinity/Comcast. If there is any interest, I can open up a post here as well. Xfinity Internet - LoS ( Provisioning and DHCP ) FYI, if anyone runs into the same issue, you can stop the script udhcpc kicks off when ISP's DHCP misbehaves in the interim. This will at least stop the connection from going down when /sbin/rc kicks off. I am considering running ISC's dhclient to see if I can get some different logs if need be.
