Configuring a VLAN over a repeater (AC5300 / AC66U)

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to do a setup which I'm unsure if it's possible. I have little experience with VLANs so please bear with me. All advice is welcome.

I have an AC5300 connected directly to the ONT. In "LAN - IPTV" I selected my ISP profile, and now I can connect my ISP's router (TG789vac) to port 4 and have my TV Box / Phone working correctly. Something like this:
Code:
ONT <--wire--> AC5300 <--wire--> TG789vac <--wire--> Box / Phone

Recently I added an AC66U as a repeater to extend the wireless coverage. I would like to connect my ISP router to the AC66U, and have the box and phone connected to it. So:
Code:
ONT <--wire--> AC5300 <--wireless--> AC66U <--wire--> TG789vac <--wire--> Box / Phone

However, my ISP's router doesn't even acquire an IP address. I'm using the latest Merlin firmware on both (380.62_1).

Is this possible at all? If so, any pointers on what I need to do to have my setup working? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

If it helps, on my AC5300:
Code:
# robocfg show
Switch: enabled
Port 0: 1000FD enabled stp: none vlan: 2 jumbo: off mac: 00:03:fa:00:00:01
Port 1: DOWN enabled stp: none vlan: 1 jumbo: off mac: 00:00:00:00:00:00
Port 2: DOWN enabled stp: none vlan: 1 jumbo: off mac: 00:00:00:00:00:00
Port 3: DOWN enabled stp: none vlan: 1 jumbo: off mac: 00:00:00:00:00:00
Port 4: DOWN enabled stp: none vlan: 1 jumbo: off mac: 00:00:00:00:00:00
Port 8: 1000FD enabled stp: none vlan: 1 jumbo: off mac: d0:17:c2:e9:cb:20

   1: vlan1: 1 2 3 5 7 8t
   2: vlan2: 0 8u
  12: vlan12: 0t 4t 8t

And on my AC66U:
Code:
# robocfg show
Switch: enabled gigabit
Port 0: DOWN enabled stp: none vlan: 2 jumbo: off mac: 00:00:00:00:00:00
Port 1: DOWN enabled stp: none vlan: 1 jumbo: off mac: 00:00:00:00:00:00
Port 2: DOWN enabled stp: none vlan: 1 jumbo: off mac: 00:00:00:00:00:00
Port 3: DOWN enabled stp: none vlan: 1 jumbo: off mac: 00:00:00:00:00:00
Port 4: DOWN enabled stp: none vlan: 1 jumbo: off mac: 00:00:00:00:00:00
Port 8: 1000FD enabled stp: none vlan: 1 jumbo: off mac: d0:17:c2:e9:cb:20
VLANs: BCM53115 enabled mac_check mac_hash
   1: vlan1: 1 2 3 4 8t
