New Around Here
Hi All,

Thanks for all of the amazing information you have provided on this site - I just got my RT-AC68U and have been reading this site for the last few days - there is some great stuff going on here!

One thing I just can't seem to get clear is how to set the following up - I was hoping it would be simple (and maybe it is?).

1) Force the BitTorrent client that is running on the router to go through OpenVPN (either Transmission or Download Manager) .
2) All other traffic bypass the VPN and go direct to the internet.

I have set up the VPN and Transmission and both work fine, but I just can't see how to direct the traffic for BitTorrent over teh VPN alone? I can only have all - or nothing!

Any help would be greatly appreciated, apologies if I have missed the most obvious thing ever (whic coul certainly be the case).

Thanks @beady_uk - I had actually given up on that thread, but your post made me try again and it is now working :)

I have asked one additional question in the original thread you linked to, to see if anyone know how to stop transmission starting before the VPN is up? (Existing torrents will expose real IP if router reboots as it connects before VPN has). There is more detail there, but if you have any ideas, please tell!

Thanks again.
