New Around Here
I'm trying to rebuild my home network.

I have a home office with a bridge (DAP-1522 2.4/5GHz wireless N capable)
I have a wireless G router at the cable drop for my internet (basement)

I have a ps3 on wireless G at the TV

I have a wireless N (2.4GHz) laptop that gets carried around.

Right now transfers from the office to the PS3 are horribly slow

I'd like to get 1 router to offer both the 5GHz link to the office, and a 2.4GHz to everything else.
If that 2.4GHz link can actually be on 2 channels so that the PS3 doesn't slow down the laptop that would be even better.

I might repurpose the current G router as a Wii/PS3 specific AP if required.

Look for "simultaneous" dual-band routers like the NETGEAR WNDR3700 and Cisco Linksys E4200.

5 GHz band will have shorter range than 2.4 GHz.
