New Around Here
Way back when, the WRT54GL (right rev. of course) was *the* choice for hacking. Whats currently the best AP with the assumption that the stock firmware will be replaced with something open and more feature rich (e.g. ton-o-mem/flash, solid, quiet, stays cool, compact, dual/simul. radios, switch, active support from various firmware projects, etc.)?

TIA,
D

Not sure about best access point per se, but probably the best, most-supported, router at the moment is the Asus RT-N16. I use Tomato firmware on a an Asus WL-500GPv2 at the moment, but if I was buying new I'd probably go for the RT-N16. Doesn't have dual radios though....
