Custom firmware build for R9000 v. 1.0.2.43HF/1.0.2.43HF-HW

A bit delayed announcement.

New version of my custom firmware build: 1.0.2.43HF/1.0.2.43HF-HW).

Changes (vs 1.0.2.42HF):

1. Most important: samba is upgaded 3.0.24->3.6.25 (with all security patches).
2. ncurses package is upgraded 5.9->6.0.
3. util-linux package is upgraded 2.28->2.30.1.
4. liblz4 package is upgraded 1.7.5->1.8.0.
5. e2fsprogs package is upgraded 1.43.5->1.43.6.
6. WebGUI: font size for logs is increased.
7. Host tools: e2fsprogs is upgraded too.
8. Toolchain: uClibc, several patches are added (needed for compilation util-linux).

No reset is needed to upgrade from my previous versions.

Thanks Voxel, updated to 1.0.2.43HF-HW and its running as smooth as a baby's bottom As mentioned in my other thread (mods: pls delete it), DFS channels are now working on this firmware though you have to wait a minute or two for them to become active once you click apply settings.

Can someone check out Plex, as mine seems to always want to repair the data base, had to go down to the last f/w as it does not have this issue.

But nice to be able to read the log with number 6 on the list

Well, Plex is very encapsulated thing and rather should not be very dependent on changes in firmware. And I did not touch Plex at all of course. The only reason I can suppose is updated samba. Do you use remote shared disks for Plex?

Also can anybody remove Plex at all and install it anew to check if this problem still exist? How to remove Plex:

Did all the above, 4 times, full hard resets and still the same Plex error.

You can. But you should realize dnsmasq.conf placement. There is a template /etc/dnsmasq-resolv.conf. If you use just dnsmasq w/o dnscrypt-proxy then it is used "as is". If not (you are using dnscrypt-proxy) then it is appended by following lines (example):

. . .
no-resolv
server=127.0.0.1#64001
server=127.0.0.1#64002
server=127.0.0.1#64003
server=127.0.0.1#64004
server=127.0.0.1#64005

I.e. you have to modify exactly this template /etc/dnsmasq-resolv.conf by editor. After reboot it should keep your changes and will be copied to /etc/dnsmasq.conf
