Data pathway in this example?

In this network example, what path would the data take in order to get from NAS to 5GHz wireless device (eg streaming video) ?

Does the data travel directly from NAS -> Switch -> 5GHz Access point,
or does it need to travel to the router (via the homeplugs) and back again?

Data goes directly from AP to wireless device. Router is only involved for traffic to/from internet.
