Data usage Download Master not monitored

Loeribas

New Around Here
Hello,

I have noticed that the downloads in the Download Master don't appear in the Traffic Monitor.
The Merlin version I am using is 3.0.0.4.374.38_2.
Maybe this is a bug in the Asus firmware.
The total download amount is something that is important for people (like me) who are connecting to the internet via satellite. It is my main reason for using Merlin.

Thanks,

Arie

This is normal. I only monitor traffic that gets forwarded to/from LAN, to avoid picking up traffic that never actually left the router.

OK. Understood.
I do not know how many people depend on satellite connections. There must be a lot of them as there is a specialised satellite (KA-SAT).
So for all those people the total of the consumed data is important.
Maybe it is something for a next version?

Thanks,

Arie

Vote for this feature too.
How one can monitor how much traffic Download Traffic consumes? As DM has Transmission under the hood, maybe there is some Transmission-specific way of implementing this? Some script that will write this info to file?
It would be wonderful also to have torrent-wise seeding traffic, not only download.
