Deleted HDD NTFS partition after 376.49_4 update

I have a problem with this firmware...
I have this firmware on N66U. I'm using Merlin firmwares for a long time and never had any problems with it, until now. My setup is simple. I have USD 2.5" HD connected to my router with Entware and transmission on it. And I'm steaming movies from it using SMB. Before updated (although I'm not sure what firmware version I had before this update - I'm fairly sure it was 376.3x something). HD had some old configuration with one NTFS partition with data and entware on it (this setup had ~2 years). After I installed this update this partition was deleted and replaced by empty NTFS partition. I lost all my files.

I moved on this time I prepared 2 partitions: ext2 for Entware and NTFS for torrented data. This worked for 2 weeks fine (torrenting and watching movies). Today I added 2 new downloads to transmission. Few minutes after that I wanted to check the download status and I cannot connect to transmission. This happens occasionally to me in the past so I just did usual thing - I rebooted the router (using power button on the router).

Router restarted fine but I lost the NTFS partition again. ext2 partition with transmission is fine, but I lost all the data again.

Everything was fine until this update.

Any ideas what could happen?

Sorry for double post. I researched this a bit:
1. NTFS Partition is "removed" on every mount
2. I tried older firmwares and this problem occurs since 376.44 firmware. Everything works fine on 374.43 so I'm sticking with this one.

How have you come to the conclusion that you lost everything on the NTFS partition ? I'm under the impression that the router is checking the "health" of your ntfs partition. There are many ways of checking if this is the case. The simplest is to let the router finish is "check". It could take between 15 to 30 minutes. After that the partition should be mounted and you will see all your files. If it is the case and if you look at the home page 30 minutes after booting, you should see your disk with the space used, and a red circle around the disk icon.

I disconnected my drive from router and connected it to PC and it was empty. I admit that I didn't wait 30 minutes, but clean drive after connecting it to PC was proof enough for me

There are many utilities you could try to recover the drive with.
