DHCP Forwarding?

Matt Bausch

New Around Here
I've got an AC3200. (re-edit: Running Merlin 378.56_2) I don't want to use the router as a DHCP server. This isn't a problem on my home network, nor my home lab. It is a problem on the guest network that's isolated from the local network. I figured it would be no big deal, just turn on DHCP forwarding, but I haven't been able to find out how that would be done. Any help would be appreciated.

Upgrading to 378.56_2 might give you better options and more responses, in addition to being more secure than the old firmware you're running now.

Ok, done. Still no further options to forward dhcp broadcast requests through the firewall. I did compile a version of dhcp_forward, but I'm not able to get that working. It seems like more people than just me would want to run an AD-enabled DHCP server and still be able to ahve a guest newtork.
