DHCP lease table

Where would I find the DHCP lease table? RT-N66U, Merlin 378.51.

I've got an unrecognized client listed in the network and I want to see when the lease began.

speaking about DHCP lease times - what are folks generally running?

I leave mine for the normal usage at 12 hours - if I'm busy tweaking on the network, I'll drop it down to 5 minutes and then bump it back up...

My DHCP server assigns leases for 24 hours. My static IPs are set to infinite. Even though the lease time is set to infinite Apple devices seem to be limited to 90 days.

Interesting - never knew that Apple devices would eventually timeout on an infinite scale ;)

I don't do DHCP reservations for static IP's on the LAN, I assigned them outside of the DHCP scope... easier perhaps that way, as I only have a few that need to be static, rest of them - I use mDNS to resolve to <hostname>.local...

mDNS is pretty awesome at this...

I've noticed that whilst the DHCP server sets a maximum lease time for a client, my Linux box will renew its lease at about half way through whatever duration its given.

Clients can always choose a shorter duration for Lease Times...

I never really cared about lease time, so I just use whatever is the default. I can't see any particular scenario where it would matter for me, since I control everything on the network. And with dnsmasq, devices always end up obtaining the same IPs anyway.
