I read an article that I should disable upnp and ran test on https://www.grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2 to make sure my router can not be probe. Nonetheless, the result is my router can not be probe even with upnp still on. Should I disable it anyway? My router is the GT-AC2900 thanks.

I think the vulnerability has been addressed, but I disable it anyway since I apparently don't need it.

That's half an answer! :)

Disable everything you don't need/use. Keep notes. When things don't 'work as they should', check your notes and backtrack your steps to a working state (if possible).
