A couple weeks ago, I downloaded and installed Epic Games launcher and Rocket League. I didn't have any issues installing the game or launching or playing it. Fast-forward to yesterday, and the game wouldn't launch. I started diagnosing by uninstalling the game, but then Epic Games launcher wouldn't re-install it. It would just sit there and do nothing. So I uninstalled and re-installed Epic Games launcher. Still nothing. Game wouldn't install. Luckily today I got an error in the Epic Games launcher that it couldn't communicate with their servers. So I checked the Diversion blocking log, just for the IP of my computer. I saw that Diversion was blocking eulatracking-public-service-prod06.ol.epicgames.com. Disabling Diversion allowed the game to install.
Next, I tried to confirm that this domain was in the blocklist/blacklists by doing a search for it. I went to the blocking list options and used option 5. Find domain in hosts file(s).
I searched for just 'epicgames.com' and the full domain, and both returned nothing. I thought that was strange. Why would it block that domain if it's not on a blocklist? I added it to my whitelist and got a message when I did so, stating that the domain wasn't found on any block/blacklists, and it would be a "forced entry."
Any ideas why Diversion is acting strangely? Is there an alternative method for searching for a domain that is being blocked by Diversion? Currently I am using the 'Large' list.
