I am using a T-Mobile Cell Spot (AC-1900) hardwired to my Brighthouse Cable Modem. My Windows 7 Pro computer is hardwired to this router and I use this PC as my server. I am also using an Asus RT-AC66U setup as a media bridge which connects my Yamaha receiver, Wii, Blu-Ray Player and Amazon FireTV.
When the RT-AC66U is connected to the AC-1900 on the 5GHz band, my Yamaha home theater receiver will not display any of the music on my server, however when it is connected on the 2.4Ghz band it will. I am curious if this is a known issue or if there is something I am doing wrong in my setup.
I would be happy to provide more information about my setup/settings if needed. Both routers use the same SSID on both bands.
