After trying to use parental controls to achieve the same thing with my children they eventually discovered how to change their MAC address to circumvent it.Using DNS Director, is there any way to direct traffic for a device to No Internet? I know how to set it up to direct devises to Certain DNS providers, but I want to punish my son by taking his devices off-line when he misbehaves.
ThanksYou could set one of the user defined DNS to 0.0.0.0 and direct his device to that. Or simply use Parental Controls or Network Services Filter to block his internet access.
That is an option, thanks. After trying to use parental controls to achieve the same thing with my children they eventually discovered how to change their MAC address to circumvent it.
If your son's using wireless set him on a guest network then you can turn that off and all his devices lose access in one fail swoop.
Just make sure he doesn't have logins to your non guest wireless networks.
Good Luck!
