DSL versions of routers

New Around Here
Hi,

I'm sure this has been asked/replied many times but I can't find any mention of it, and you can't search on 'dsl'.

Is the Merlin firmware compatible with the DSL variants of the Asus routers, e.g. the DSL-AC68U?

simple answer here is no dsl modem /router is 3rd party compatible , only wireless routers can do any form of 3rd party firmware including merlin's fw

Thanks for the quick reply.

At bit of a bummer really, I assumed the these 'DSL' models where just the normal wireless routers with inbuilt dsl modems, if I had known I would have bought the 'RT' version and an external VDSL modem.

You can still do that. (See the buy/sell section in the forums). :)
