First, thanks for your hard work Merlin, after I purchased this router we needed Dual Wan and your firmware saved us from having to buy replacement equipment!

Is there a telnet command that can force it to switch back to primary WAN, or at least re-check it?

Right now my method is to reboot the whole router, but sometimes even when it is fully rebooted it still seems to fall to LAN1. I end up having to unplug the LAN1 ethernet cord and reboot to force it back to the main WAN.

Try the following (not sure if it will properly switch back to wan0 if it's back online):

Code:
service restart_wan

Tried the code a few times, it restarted and LAN1 came back up within seconds. System log shows both modems sent their details to the router just fine.

It doesn't look like that command makes it switch back to WAN. Anything else I could try?

No idea. I never really studied the dual WAN code.
