Hi Guys,
I have recently wanted to add VPN to my home network so I've picked up an RV110W router. My question is which one is better to use on the WAN side of the network? Which would provide a better firewall / be more secure?
To be clear, I will not likely be VPNing into my network remotely but will instead be using it to maintain access to an external VPN. I am also assuming that the E4200 will VPN pass-through will work with the RV110W operating LAN side otherwise this discussion is moot.
Finally, are there any issues running both wireless networks? I was thinking that if the e4200 is left on the WAN side of the network then I can connect to the RV110W when I want to connect to my VPN and the e4200 the rest of the time. I'm assuming the e4200 should have better wireless performance.
Thanks guys, I'm looking forward to the typically stellar responses I've seen to date on these forums.
