Do ASUS routers support emoji names for wifi networks? U+1F34D (pineapple) does not seem to work?

As far as I understand using special characters in SSID may put you in trouble, stick to standard ASCII, it is the safe way.

I concur - should stick with ASCII - mainly due to the fact that not all platforms that might attach to that SSID, they might not implement extended character sets in the same way...
