Is there any advantage to having this enabled other then seeing the same clients connect or disconnect from the router ? I dont like my sys log filling up with a bunch of stuff if its not needed. Any advise would be appreciated. Jim!

I think the DHCP log is there so that you'll be aware if any unauthorized client tries to connect or was able to connect. Kinda security thing rather than being blind.

Yes that sounds logical i guess it might be a good idea to just enable it. Thanks :)
