x86, x64, ARM5, ARM7 and MIPS forks of Entware were merged into Entware-ng.

Previously used Entware feeds are frozen since October 2015. Any new packages or fixes now will be added to Entware-ng only.

More information on Entware-ng (in Russian) is here - http://forums.zyxmon.org/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=5240 and will be updated later.

The brief translation follows.

We use gcc 4.8.5 with debian & openwrt patches to build packages.
Libc library for mipsel is uclibc-ng 1.0.8, for arm and intel - glibc 2.22.
We use the following kernel sources to build toolchain: mipsel "enthusiast version" of 2.6.22, armv5 & x86 - 2.6.32 (LT), armv7 -2.6.36.

Packages lists are the same for all architectures with some exceptions. There is no valgrind for arm, there is no deluge for mipsel (it crashes).....
Packages lists (with sort and search functions):
armv5 - http://entware.zyxmon.org/binaries/armv5/Packages.html
armv7 - http://entware.zyxmon.org/binaries/armv7/Packages.html
mipsel - http://entware.zyxmon.org/binaries/mipsel/Packages.html
x86-32 - http://entware.zyxmon.org/binaries/x86-32/Packages.html
x86-64 - http://entware.zyxmon.org/binaries/x86-64/Packages.html

armv7 and mipsel versions of Entware can be upgraded using the following scripts

Code:
wget -O - http://entware.zyxmon.org/binaries/other/entware.armv7-upgrade.sh | /bin/sh

Code:
wget -O - http://entware.zyxmon.org/binaries/mipsel/installer/upgrade.sh | sh

The script removes old packages leaving configuration files and installs the new ones. Not all modified files are marked as configuration files. It is better to make backup before upgrade.

Install (bootstrap scripts) for new installations:
armv5 - http://entware.zyxmon.org/binaries/armv5/installer/entware_install.sh
armv7 - http://entware.zyxmon.org/binaries/armv7/installer/entware_install.sh
mipsel - http://entware.zyxmon.org/binaries/mipsel/installer/installer.sh
x86-32 - http://entware.zyxmon.org/binaries/x86-32/installer/entware_install.sh
x86-64 - http://entware.zyxmon.org/binaries/x86-64/installer/entware_install.sh

We are working on an installation script that will autodetect the architecture and will install appropriate version.

Sorry download speed from entware.zyxmon.org is grudging. How can I help?

Probably too many updates now. entware.zyxmon.org is hosted in Netherlands.
I have tried to download 300MB file from Sweeden and USA now.
The speed was not great but is admissible: 27,8 MB/s and 13,8 MB/s respectively.
Where are you from? What can be your help?

PS I have enabled a clouflare cached entware.zyxmon.ru (different domain) that points to the same hosting. May be it'll help someone. Just edit /opt/etc/opkg.conf and change org --> ru

My quick tests show that download speed from USA is 4-5 times slower for CloudFlair.

Hi, thank you, will do. Nevermind, it has installed pretty well slowly but surely :)
My help would be not that much, donations and bug reports only at this point.
Where does bug report go?

Thanks for the updates on entware for arm. I am finding that the nano editor is having issues with resizing the terminal window when using putty. It was working fine until I updated to the new location and packages. Now when I resize a window I get a "unknown command" message when I am editing. I tested other utilities such a htop and they all resize just fine when running. Is there a update to nano that may fix this?

Installed it yesterday, runs with no problems on my router. @RMerlin will have to update the install script for it.

can someone write a script for entware-ng to blocking IP ranges and single IP for incoming connection?

This has nothing to do with entware(-ng): iptables is your friend - and google will learn you how to use your friend!
