Entware Entware not found

I'm having issues with Entware seems to be disappearing on it's own. I tried both a USB flash drive and an external HDD so I don't think it's a drive issue. When I try to reinstall it from amtm I get:
Getting from fwupdate.asuswrt-merlin.net
! Module entware_setup.mod download failed
! using fallback server diversion.ch
! Module entware_setup.mod download failed
And yes pinging these domains directly works.

What router, what firmware version, what version of AMTM? What other add-on scripts are you running?
Note there is a separate subforum for discussing Add-On script issues and a specific topic in that subforum for AMTM issues.

PS: When you say pinging these domains directly works, does that mean you pinged, from the router itself, those domains?

RT-AX86U 3004.388.9_0
amtm version 5.2.1
I tried removing Entware then reinstalling it in the same location and it seems to detect that it previously was there. It only works for a couple of days then suddenly stops. No reboots performed between installing it and it breaking.

Are you using a USB stick? Might just be that failing, worth trying to reinstall onto a new one (or far better, an SSD).

Already said I tried using both a USB flash drive and an external HDD.
Sorry, I should have scrolled up a bit further.

What do you mean "stops"? The USB drive is no longer present? Entware is not mounted? Does entware come back after a reboot only to disappear after a while? Have you gone through the syslog to see if there is any errors?

AMTM not being able to resolve the repository is a bit confusing. Anything in the syslog about that failure?

Have you by any means installed skynet?

Logs simply states it's not found. Rebooting doesn't help. Only way to fix it is reinstalling.

No.

I would wipe the router and reflash the firmware- start over
